The leftover Puff Pastry from the Steak Pie or a roll of Just Roll Puff Pastry.
1/2 Tub of Philadelphia Cream Cheese leftover from the cheesecake.
1/2 a jar of Mincemeat that was supposed to go in the filo pastry strudel that I haven’t made yet.

You get the impression that this wasn’t planned for today. ?


Roll out the Puff Pastry to about 1/8 inch (3mm). I got a rectangle about 12” x 10”.
spread with the 1/2 tub of Philadelphia Cheese and dot spoonfuls of the mincemeat over the cheese and spread out. I used about 1/2 the jar.
Then roll up the pastry from the long edge.
cut into 1” wheels and place on two greaseproof papered trays. Bake at 220c for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with icing sugar and transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
